Aliepson Featured in "Hidden Figures"

QUESTION 1: So everyone wants to know.  How did you get the Opportunity to be apart of "Hidden Figures", a #1 Movie in America!

Aliepson: "I Submitted via an Online Audition. The Hidden Figures Production Team knew, Exactly, what they were looking for.  They put ads everywhere, looking to fill all type of roles.  At first, I didn't fit any of the Roles being advertised.  Then I, Fortunately, ran into a Facebook Repost, from the Amazing "Andrea Craven"! She is the Extras Casting Director for Hidden Figures, The Birth of a Nation, and The Haves and Haves Nots; just to name a few. She reshared a post from, "Marinella Hume Casting Atlanta".  They were looking for African American, Natural Women, Between the ages 20-35.  Wow! Can you believe that! I was so Excited. I submitted ASAP. lol. I Followed the Specifics they wanted included in the Submission Email, then BOOM, I Received a very cool Acceptance letter, Congratulating me on being "Booked to work on the Featured Film "Hidden Figures"!  Once on set, I was rebooked about 4 or 5 more times, as an "African American Computer" or "Core".

QUESTION 2: How many Hours, would you say you Spent on the Set of "Hidden Figures"?

ALIEPSON:  "That is a good question. It literally went from being One Booking, to another and another one.  I think I ended up being onset for 5 Days and We had 10/12 hour days, hands down.  So, to answer the question, I guess I put in, a little over 60 hours...with the Fittings included."

QUESTION 3:  We know you worked with other Celebrities before, but How was it interacting with Taraji P. Henson, Janelle Monae, and Octavia Spencer, in particularly?

ALIEPSON:  "It was a really Awesome Experience.  I must say. All of them are Extremely Professional and down to earth, especially Janelle Monae.  Janelle had a way of interacting with the Extras, the Staff, and even the janitor (chuckles), that made her extremely likeable and approachable.  She and Taraji shared lots of jokes on set, making the long hours, a breeze to get through.  What I noticed about Taraji is that she is truly a Revolving Brand.  While onset, she had a Vocal Coach, in her ear, helping her perfect her vocal inflections. In between takes, she would practice vocal Exercises AND she Only drinks Fiji Water.  A Very Disciplined individual.  Overall, working with these Amazing Women was simply Motivating and Inspiring! I am so proud of all of their hard work and I hope to, one day, make them just as proud of me!"

QUESTION 4: How did you Like your Cast Mates?

ALIEPSON:  "I think Everyone was cool.  We spent a lot of hours together, so of course, behind the Scenes, was a bit Clickish.  Overall, I met some really cool and interesting people.  A Few of them, I made a Video with.  We thought it would be cool to record us  'Dabbing in the 60's', lol.  Our PA was Amazing as well.  I absolutely love working with Alex Bryant.  He is so Fun and he has the Answer to EVERYTHING, lol"

QUESTION 5: Being on Set 12 hours, that's rough. Did they feed you all? What did you eat?

ALIEPSON: "Yes they feed us.  Our call time was early morning, 7 and 8 am.  So we arrived to a Varity of Breakfast Items.  From Fruits, to hot food, to Coffee & donuts.  Then, at a certain hour, we break for Lunch.  I filmed 5 days but we had anything from Baked chicken, to shrimp, burgers, vegetables, Salads....its like a buffet line....just make your plate how you see fit.  I personally loved the Baked chicken, mashed potatoes, and string beans.

So yes, we ate good, not to mention, there is an area called "Crafty", it is Filled with every snack and juice under the sun.  You can visit this area as often as you want.  This is, of course, our favorite area.  lol."

QUESTION 6: How do you feel about all of the Advertisements and Promo, that has gone VIRAL, with your Face on them?

ALIEPSON: "Aww man, the feeling is truly unexplainable.  I mean I was published in TIME Magazine, Entertainment Magazine, Entertainment Weekly, Rolling Stone, Variety, and I was even Featured in the Official Trailer for the Movie.  I mean, these things just started popping up left and right. They are still popping up.  I honestly cant explain how Blessed I am.  God gets all the glory! It is all about Positioning and he did that.  I'm so Grateful for not only all the promotions, but also, to be apart of a movie that is Telling and Making History!"

Extra on the set of "A Question of Faith"

Being an Extra is such an Interesting Experience.  Being a International Runway Model, its not always easy to switch hats, as Extras are treated a lot differently than a Runway Model.  You must humble yourself as an extra. You're the LEAST of everyones worry.  No hair, No Make up and you are the Last to eat.  Though an Extras role is a very Important part of a production, you must still know your role and stay in your lane.  What I appreciate most about the art of Acting is the discipline one must have to pursue this career.  You have a million lines to remember, VERY LONG hours on set, and most scenes are shot numerous times and you must deliver your lines the same way each time.  The Beauty of getting an opportunity to be on a nationally syndicated set is that you film amongst big name individuals, you get to see how many people ;it takes to accomplish one goal, you get to see how all of the lights and stage setting works; which forces you to watch movies and television a lot differently.

"A Question of Faith" is a uplifting Faith-based film which follows three families of different cultures within the same community, who are all complete strangers, living vastly separate lives until a single texting and driving accident puts them on converging paths of loss, pain, uncertainty, forgiveness, and ultimately redemption. The Movie is starring: Richard T. Jones, Kim Fields, Gregory Alan Williams, C. Thomas Howell, Jaci Velasquez, T.C. Stallings, Renee O'Connor, Donna Briscoe, Karen Valero, and Amber Nelon Thompson.
